We kick off our 88th Classics Season with one of the most popular guitar concertos ever composed, Concierto de Aranjuez. Rodrigo’s masterful concerto will transport you to the royal gardens of Spain through its driving rhythms and Spanish colors. The program concludes with Berlioz’s striking Symphonie Fantastique which follows an artist whose unreturned love turns into fits of hopeless despair.
